Nuestro safari de 14 dias, con un grupo de 6 amigos en Tanzania fue una recorrida circular que abarcó todo el país, y fue positivamente mucho más de lo que esperábamos. Goody es un excelente líder, con un profundo conocimiento de la cultura, naturaleza y antropologia de su país. Él mantuvo siempre una excelente comunicación con nosotros, tanto antes como durante el viaje. Porque soy diabética T1, los 4 miembros de la tripulación del safari hicieron todos las acomodaciones necesarias para ayudarme a mantener las 24 horas encendido mi frigorifico de insulina (incluso en areas remotas sin electricidad). Con Lucky Safari puedes acordar el tipo de safari que quieres hacer de acuerdo a la cantidad de dias, tipo de alojamiento, experiencia que buscas y presupuesto. Lucky Safari ajustó nuestro presupuesto de viaje para poder visitar 8 parques nacionales y varias areas de conservación, donde mayoritariamente acampamos, y con sólo algunas noches de hotel en tránsito hacia nuestro siguiente destino. La comida fue siempre abundante y deliciosa, preparada con amor por nuestro chef, que siempre estuvo atento a nuestros gustos y preferencias. Tanzania es sorprendente, acogedora, generosa y ten presente que se mueve al ritmo lento, cual su "pole-pole" y "hakuna matata"; asi que si tienes un ritmo acelerado del estilo de vida occidental, déja en tu casa cualquier arrebato de impaciencia. Si eres, una persona curiosa y siempre con miles de preguntas, será un deleite conversar con cualquiera de los miembros de la tripulación o los guías adicionales que les irán acompañando durante el viaje y os recomiendo aprovechar cada minuto para hacer aún más rica tu experiencia. No todo fueron parques nacionales y animales. Parte del encanto fue alternar actividades, por ejemplo recorrer una aldeas en bicicleta, y conversar con lugareños, pasar tiempo con algunas tribus, hacer senderismo por las montañas, ir a mercados, bucear o snolkeling en el lago Tanganica, ver musica en vivo y bailar en una discoteca, refrescarnos en una catarata de agua, visitar una parque nacional dedicado exclusivamente a flores y plantas, preparar tu propio cafe en un cafetal orgánico de una comunidad tribal, o ver un partido de fútbol en un bar de un pueblo, todo ello contribuyendo a una excelente mezcla de actividades para conocer en profundidad Tanzania.

A great, almost 5 weeks journey with friends, accompanied by an experienced team: guide, chef and drivers. I most of all enjoyed the 10 national parks that we visited, the two big lakes (Victoria and Tangyanika) and the Usambara mountains. What I also liked was the way of travelling and the super nice ideas of how to interact with local people, like bike- and hiking trips for example. I would go again - any time !

Best Adventure with Lucky Safari
There so much to say about Goodluck and the staff at Lucky Safari! I am an experienced traveler and have traveled solo for 15 years. I had a wonderful experience with Lucky Safari, the hospitality and care was top notch. My experience included a tour through the Ursambala Mountains which is East of Moshi approximately 8 hour drive. You see alot of the country side and feel the twists and turns going up and down the mountain side. I felt comfortable the entire ride just be prepared to be patient. We didn't have any major delays but 15 - 20 minutes adds up, the bright side is you can take in the landscape rather than just see it in passing. We arrived at our hotel at night, the next morning the cloud cover descended and we were sitting above the clouds! As the sun began to rise the clouds did as well and it was breathtaking! Due to issues with plumbing Goodluck and Anna arranged for lodging at another hotel (These are 5 star hotels but they are perfect, I met a lady traveling solo from Wisconsin). Everything was great at the new place and it offer a view in a different direction. We went on a hiking tour meet locals and enjoyed the serenity. The climax of the trip was climbing Kilimanjaro. I was throughly impressed with the porters and accommodations (tent, food, knowledge). I took the Machame route and for an inexperienced climber think I did well. My boots fit just right they should have been a little larger than normal for the climb. Lucky Safari arranged all the things needed for the climb and adjusted as needed, since I don't eat beef or pork they ensured I had food that fit my diet the entire trip. I made it to the summit and loved the trip. I highly recommend Lucky Safari. If you are looking for a great Adventure go with Lucky Safari.
